The airport is located about 10 km from the city centre. You can reach centre by:
- taxi from the airport (fixed prices 49-89 PLN), Krakow Airport official carrier webside http://www.krktaxi.pl/en/start
- public bus number: 292, 208 or the night bus 902 (the regular fare is 4.00 PLN). Tickets can be purchased in the RELAY newsagent's shop – T1 international terminal, mezzanine, or from the ticket machine at the bus stop. It takes about 35/40 mins to get to the city centre. The bus stop is located directly at the roundabout, in front of the passenger terminal.
- Quick railway line (the fare is 12 PLN and tickets are purchased on board from automated cashier or train attendant or in terminal T1 from automated cashier located near center exit). The Krakow-Balice Station is located app. 200 m from the passenger terminal; you can get there on foot (around 5 mins walk) or take a free shuttle bus service in front of the airport entrance (http://www.krakowairport.pl/en/3/5/43). The train departs app. every 40 minutes and it takes about 15 minutes to reach the centre.
By train
Krakow is one of Poland's main railroad junctions. Its central station Krakow Glowny is situated in the city centre, close to the Old Town historic district.
